Yahoo! and Google announced there future plans in the mobile internet playing field during the recent Consumer Electronics Show. Both are hoping to broaden their branding presence on mobile devices.
Google has negotiate a deal with Motorola to feature their searching services on handsets around the world. In addition to closing a deal with Motorola, Google has also announced a successful agreement with Opera where they will be featured as the default search engine on their mobile browser application.
Yahoo! on the other hand has just release there long awaited Go services, which is more comprehensive then Google’s Mobile device plan. The Yahoo! Go services lets users access their Yahoo! content, including email, photos, and music, from a variety of devices (Mobile, TV,PC). It’s their way of providing convince for the computing worry-free lifestyle. Yahoo users can bring their photos, music, movie listings and more out of the Internet and into their living room.
A contract with Nokia’s Smart phone and plans to close a deal with Motorola will allow users to organize their content on their phones and keep it automatically synced with their online account, for easy access and safe-keeping.
These are two of the fastest growing companies fighting for a common market! It’s an exciting period for these two internet giants! Both had achieve unbelievable success! Its scary to see what is in stored for them in the future…
