Flashback to Microsofts First Website

Posted on 14 March 2006 by Tommy

Just to thinking of the progression the web has had over the last decade, it’s amazing. We went from static web pages that just link out to dynamic web pages managed by databases, animated in flash, and integrated with advance web applications.Below is a Screenshot of Microsoft\’d5s website back in April of 1994. To think that was a top of the line design back then, it’s Crazy. It operated on only 3 servers with average daily views up to 125,000, so it was highly successful.

“Bill Gates himself commented in a May 1995 memo that “amazingly, it is easier to find information on the Web than it is to find information on the Microsoft Corporate Network.”
