My newest gadget: the Logitech MX 1000. This baby comes pack with features, your looking at the world’s first laser mouse with 20 times the tracking power then that of a an optical sensor. It offers precision when you need it most. The laser over optical allows it to revealing significantly greater surface detail, which enables it to read the toughest of surfaces, such as highly polished or wood-grain surfaces.
It’s housed with thumb-button controls for universal page forward and back, as well as an application switch option that allows users to quickly navigate between windows or applications. The overall design of the mouse is made beautifully so that my hand is comfortably rested on its hump. I can go for hours using this mouse without strain to the hand what so ever.
Plus I can’t forget that it’s RF cordless as well, with performance that is very much comparable to your USB corded mouse. Other great features include a built in battery that can be recharge with the supplied docking station; as well as a illuminated 4-level battery indicator, which alerts users when charging is needed.
The few cons of the MX 1000 is that it doesn’t use the wireless standard: Bluetooth, and there is no compact RF receiver for travelers. Other then that it’s been a great buy for me. The street price for the MX 1000 is around $60 USD, but worth every penny.
Highly recommended for you budget graphic designers.
