Rebtel Connects US Cheaply Around the World

Posted on 27 July 2006 by Tommy

RebtelRebtel, a Sweden-based company has just lunched a product that will allow users to dial any international number at the cost of a local call. It sets up the ends of the calls to use local connections to VoIP points and then bridges the calls over the net. What an Awesome idea!!!

You can test/try the service by entering yours and the recipient’s information into the form on the front page. The cost of this service is $1USD a week, and the best part if that the plan is always on (in case of emergency) but if you don’t call anyone you wont be charged.
