ZAPR File Sharing

Zapr is beta testing a simple way to transfer/share files for free. Users are required to download a desktop client, fill it with email addresses of friends and then drag and drop files or folders from their computers onto the client. When a file/folder is set to be share or transfer the friends intended to receive them will be notified by email with a URL linked to the file on the uploader’s computer. The computer storing the file has to be on in order for the file to be accessed, thus the original file can not be moved from its set location or the link will be broken.

The client currently requires Windows XP and the .Net architecture for uploaders, but not for downloaders. The service is in invite-only beta right now, but you can sign up for an account. Can’t wait to try this service sounds like it can really make life a lot easier.
