Journey Called Life

GRADE : A
This is a drama that can be very much anticipating. The acting was especially good. Linda, Steven, and Kent’s performance is refreshing. The story is very touch and moving. What I got out of this move was no matter what you may have done is the past, their always lies a bright future for you if you are willing to change and work hard. Never-the-less a very inspiring piece and one that I high recommend.

ON chases KA and admits that he doesn’t want to think of KA as a younger sister but he actually loves her. KA starts to cry and yells at ON for not admitting his love for her. ON stops her yelling by kissing KA. The whole family later finds out when ON announces that him and KA were dating at ON’s birthday party.

Full House

A very touching drama (16, one hour episodes) that is sure to capture your hearts. It follows Ji Eun (Song Hye Kyo) journey of recovering her stolen “full house” to love with a childish famed Actor. Through all in all this drama is very touching and will immediately get you sucked into the emotions of every scene. Not to mention the Soundtrack is awesome as well, all two songs…lol (Inside joke-watch the drama and you’ll understand).

This isn’t much of a review but, rather a recommendation to check out this awesome drama if you have the time…

ABC

ABC is experimenting with streaming some of their prime-time shows on the web for free. The advantages of this would allow viewers without a TiVo to watch the shows they fancy on their own time, at no cost. The drawbacks are that they will be streamed with commercials in its entirety.

This experiment will be going on until end of June 30 and is available only in the US. Streaming will be done via Flash Video so it will support many platforms (Mac, Windows) as long as you have Flash 8 installed.

Sweet Spy - MBC TV Series

Sweet Spy

A New Korean MBC TV series that started airing late 2005 is catching a lot of eyes. Sweet Spy is a cross-genre television show that houses drama, action, comedy and some romance as well. The story is a bit uneasy to accept at times but never the less the director uses an array of twist and turns to gab the attention of its audience.

Dennis O’Neil, an American Korean plays a leading role as an international spy that speaks only in English. A bit weird that he can understand Korean but can’t speak it. The leading actress, Lee Sun-Ae Song who reminds me of Hye Kyo plays a very inspirational role as a traffic officers that has sworn to perform her duties with the utmost professionalism after her husband was killed in a car accident. These two clash in Korea when an accidental exchange of some very important information is made. Mix in some cops, boxers, and a mafia and we got ourselves an interesting series.

Just by watching this series you can really see the differences in the Korean culture compared to that of the United States. For a person currently learning the Korean language it has really help me get into the Koran mindset.

The most interest part of Sweet Spy is their use of music, which I love and can’t get enough of. The use of popular music at Curtin scenes really gives this TV series its marketable image and really creates that empathies of emotions the characters are try to depict.

If you guys don live in Korea or don’t have access to MBC via satellite then you’ll have to wait till June when the DVD gets released here in the United States.

Year: 2005
Episodes: 20
Genre: Police, Spy, Romance, Drama, Comedy
Starring: Nam Sang Mi (as Lee Sun-ae), Lee Joo Hyun (as Kang Jun), Dennis Oh (as Han Yoo-il), Yoo Sun (as Park Eun-joo).
Synopsis By Eat Rice: Traffic cop Lee Sun-Ae is earnest and serious when it comes to her job: stopping and apprehending reckless drivers. One night, she stops a man for speeding. What she doesn’t realize is that he’s an international spy, and the ball-point pen she takes from him is actually a super-top-secret-encryption-spy-transmitter-thing. Life suddenly gets complicated for Sun-ae when the mafia, the CIA, a trio of “boxing champions,” and of course, the (sexy) spy-master are coming after her.

itunesApple iTunes store just got more affordable. They are introduced a season pass system to pre-purchase upcoming episodes of daily TV shows a month in advance. The new system will automatically download new shows as they are aired. All shows downloaded will still have the same FairPlay DRM, so they’ll never expire to play. Im not too sure how much they will be charging but, it will be at a rather large discount. It’s currently US-only, but rumored to be available in the Europe soon.
