Sphere: Related ContentIt was my first time trying this Japanese Drink today and boy its awesome! If you haven’t tried it, its really cool. Carbonated soda mixed with Candy, sounds strange huh. A cavity wait to happen..lol It comes in 2 different flavors that I know of: Regular and Melon.
It has yet to reach the American soft drink market yet, but I think I would be a hit amongst children and teens don’t you… Find it at your local Asian supermarkets. Cost is around a buck a bottle.
Sphere: Related ContentSantini’s Pizza is located up on Hunter mountain on the Main Floor of the Lodge. They offer gourmet piazzas, veggie and meatball subs, and ice-cold beverages.
I had two slices of their original Pizza with an ice cold lemon tea. The ice tea wasn’t bad but the same could not be said about their pizza. It tasted like frozen pizza out of a box and for $2.50 a slice it really sucked.
I highly recommend you eat something other then Santini’s Pizza while your boarding away up in Hunter’s lodges.

The Shish-kebab Mediterranean restaurant in Westbury had 2 entrances. I used the elevator entrance and had to walk across the entire restaurant just to see the hosts. Then I was placed on a waiting list for 15 some what minutes, even though the restaurant was quite empty with plenty of seats available. When I finally got a table it wasn’t cleaned very well, there were still sprinkles of pepper left behind from the previous guests.
The Food, however, was pleasantly better then their service. They offer a huge menu with a lot of options. 4 different menus: Lunch, dinner, takeout, and for you weight conscious people a weight loss diet menu. They Serve a wide range of food from sandwiches, to soups and salads, kebabs, seafoods, house specials, and of course appetizer all with a greet, Mediterranean or middle eastern style. A diverse line of Wines and alcoholic beverages are also available.
Their Mediterranean cuisine features an exotic delicacies from Greece, Israel, Egypt and Turkey. Their food pyramid is renowned for its healthful qualities, and Ayhan’s incorporates this healthy philosophy into its main dishes. I had the Quick Chicken, which was the special for the day. It was a Chicken Style Kebab with a side of Greek slide, rice, peas, Mushrooms, and Onions. I washed that down with a diet coke for a grand total of only $14.00 with Tip.
Though there service was a bit bad I would still recommend this place because of its unbelievable food for its value

PICNIC GARDEN B.B.Q. BUFFET HOUSE
definitely not the healthiest place to go for food but it’s a great experience. If you have never been to a Korean BBQ before, they’re awesome. There is a buffet of prepared raw meat for you to grill at your table as well as a number of sides dishes such as rice, noodles, soup, dumpling, etc.
Prices:
Lunch $7.95 person
Dinner $14.95 person
Weekends & Holidays - Lunch $9.95
Children under 10$4.95 M-F $5.95 Sat/Sun/Holiday
For $10 with a drink I had myself enough food to be stuffed for a week. I tired just about every single kind of meat they had. The best I would have to say is the beef. But there chicken, sausages, pork, and seafood are not bad. The Noodles are unbelievably tasty, best side in my opinion.
If your looking to try something new, and not too weight conscious then I would definitely recommend Picnic Garden BBQ Buffet House on Northern Blvd.
Note: This is a grill so be warned that when you leave your cloths will spell like a grill-like atmosphere (Smoke)

A wide selection of hearth-baked pizzas, with flavors and taste from all around the world. Creative salads, Fresh Pastas, soups, sandwiches, appetizers, and deserts round out the menu. They also offer a wide selection of Beverages from Cocktails to wines, beers and specialty coffee and teas.
I had the world famous original Barberque chicken Pizza, baked with Barbecue sauce, smoked Gouda and Mozzarella cheeses, BBQ Chicken, sliced red onions and cilantro. It provided a very rich taste that was extremely satisfying. The portions are generous and are enough to fill you up. I washed down my meal with an IBC Root Beer, bringing my grand total to $15.00 including a 17% tip.

A Full Service Asian Market. Get all your meat needs, Veggies, can goods and much more. A small take out section that offers a wide selection of Chicken (Baked whole: Plain, slated, Dipped in Soy sauce; BBQ Wings), Pork (roasted or BBQ Grilled), Ducked, Curry Squid, and much more…
I bought 12 BBQ wings, half a baked chicken, and 1.5lbs of roasted pork for dinner with the family tonight. It’s a great alternative to cooking, Just cook come white rice and your set. I found the food average, nothing extraordinary. Remember this place only offers take out, and appearance of the store front is not eye pleasing but then again your on main street nothing really is. For the value they offer I felt that it wasn’t too bad. $4 for a dozen wings, $12 for 1.5lbs of roasted pork, and $6 bucks for half a slated chicken brought my family dinner to a grand total of $22 bucks.

Sphere: Related ContentI got into Toronto last night and it’s freezing! If I want to make it out of here alive, I better get me a warmer coat. Anyhow I finally done with the first day of the Interviews for a marketing company that goes by the name of BASE.
On the first day, my job was to tour the city and do research. How awesome is that they gave me 100 bucks and told me to sell them the idea of tourism in Toronto. I had massive fun running around the city and taking in its culture. To be honest its not so different from NY city, except that it’s not crowed and dirty.
Everywhere is within walking distance! I can really see myself living our here.
I think I did well on the interview today considering I’m not native to this area….
Planning on go apartment hunting tomorrow afternoon and look at some real estate just In case I really do decide to work here….
Ok, time to go hang out with some buddies and relax a bit before another stressful activity tomorrow…
Peace from Toronto
